We have been working with one of Finland’s leading healthcare providers to ensure the full 360 offering reaches each and every customer through placing the ePharma digital pharmacy inside their own healthcare platform. To our knowledge, this is the first time in Europe - in regulated markets - to have placed a pharmacy inside a healthcare services own platform.
It allows Mehiläinen to add further value to their existing customer care offering, from having an online doctor consultation through to getting your prescription and other medicine/pharmacy products delivered to your home, office or current location.
A customer can have the freedom of choice in terms of which partnering pharmacy they are served by, receive the necessary medical advice by phone from that pharmacy, all from the comfort of their home, office or other location. If they are physically visiting a Mehiläinen location, they can skip the queue at a pharmacy by ordering their prescription through their phone on the way out, to be ‘clicked and collected’ from the closest partnering pharmacy.
Customers can also now see their medicine history as well as their medical history, all in one place.
